having a problem downloading podcasts, particularly in Manager tools basics "feedback"

How are you downloading?  Are you using the RSS feeds and a podcatcher (e.g. iTunes, Juice, RSSRadio &c)?  Are you using right-click & Save-As in your browser?  Something else?  If you're using a podcatcher have you tried right-click & Save-As from your browser?  If you're using right-click & Save-As have you tried iTunes or another podcatcher?
Are you downloading at home, work, college, a library, an internet cafe or elsewhere?  Do you know if you are going through a proxy or firewall?
Do some casts work and some not all the time?  Do none work?  Can you download them sometimes but not others?
What error messages are you getting?
Have you tried downloading other (non-MT) podcasts?  If so, what was the result?

Thnks for your input Stephen.  I am trying to download the podcasts into my i tunes library.  When I click on download, it starts playing the mp3 in QuickTime but does not give me the option of downloading it to my i-pod.  I am not using RSS feed..Should i be?  Previously the podcasts would dowload directly into my itunes..but no longer.  I download from home and from the office and both times it does not work.  I am not on any network with firewalls at home..What am I doing wrong.

I'm a little confused.  Are you saying that you are manually downloading files in iTunes (the application), rather than subscribing to the feed and when you click the 'Get Episode' button the cast plays in QuickTime?  If so have you tried re-installing iTunes?  Is it when you try to copy the cast from iTunes to your iPod?  If so, I've had a similar problem where I click on a cast to select it to drag to my iPod and it starts playing.  That's just down to not leaving enough time between clicking to select and clicking to drag so Windows interprets it as a double click, leave a few seconds between clicks.
If you are using iTunes then, unless you have a particular reason not to, subscribing to the feed does simplify downloading a lot.
